It's with a heavy heart that I must inform you that this site, Guild Wars Guru, will be shutting down on July 1st and will remain in Archive Mode. Over the past 11 years, we've become, and continued to remain, the #1 fansite for Guild Wars, and it's all because to you guys. Without such a strong and passionate community, Guru would have never made it this far and so we thank you for that.

And while we will be saying good-bye to our home here, we will continue to host forums for the GW community over at our sister site, Guild Wars 2 Guru. In fact, you are more than welcome to head on over now and begin posting. If you have any threads you'd like to transfer over, now would be the time.

So once again thank you, and especially those that contributed their time and knowledge to make Guru the amazing place it was. We'll see you over at Guild Wars 2 Guru!

Nessaja Banned Join Date: May 2005	You need to abuse "Fear Me" if you're going to use hundred blades. Lets say you have for great justice on aswell - one fear me in one hundred blades sequence. Spamming Fear Me with 3 warriors in GvG will eat monks alive. Alone it wont do much good, but with a warrior team based on adrenaline and fear me you can drain casters faster then a mesmer could cast Energy Surge

JR Re:tired Join Date: Nov 2005 Profession: W/	Hundred Blades is fine. Where it suffers, is that it is part of the sword line, which is already viable without an elite attack skill on your bar. Most guilds run Sword warriors for the utility they offer with the spare elite slot, i.e. have them take charge. An Axe chain without Eviscerate is a lot weaker than a sword chain without Hundred Blades. Sever, Gash, Galrath, Final is already a very effecive chain. It is a good skill, just not as neccasary as other attack elites to make your character potent. People run it where it fits their build, not because it is as staple as Eviscerate is to an axe warrior.

BigTru Jungle Guide Join Date: May 2005	Ok, I've seen the light. I guess I was going by what Hundred Blades was before it was fixed. When I used it then, it was fairly crappy, to say the least. Now I've used it and see just how efficient it is, even if it's only a little bit better than Dual Shot. Against a fleeing target (with 60 AL), I do 54+54 damage, not counting vampiric or enchantments. Plus I get double adrenaline and a small chance at AoE. Now what I would like to see improved is the AoE itself. I think it's much too small to be useful. A cool effect I'd like to see, though not necissary, is this: Hundred Blades - Swing twice at foe and foes adjacent to target. Foes adjacent to any target hit by Hundred Blades are swung at twice. Basicaly... If you all your targets are standing in a straight line, and you hit the one on the end, it'd have kinda a cool domino effect Last edited by BigTru; Jan 29, 2006 at 12:49 AM // 00:49..

Rainy Ico Academy Page Join Date: Jan 2006	Honestly, I could REALLY use hundred blades with a vampiric mod, but sadly, that's at the end of the game -_-. But really, I heard they toned down illusionary weapon so it did normal damage rather than ignore.

It's amazing for adren gain, it's a miracle working for farming (I've posted my build several times) and it's still great in PvE. I haven't tried it in PvP but I would imagine it's still quite useful. For example, in Zaishen Challenge my war can solo the IWAY team with HB and a few other skills.
